Department of Health Informatics

The Healthcare Informatics Certificate Program is designed to quickly build up competencies in the field of biomedical informatics especially for those seeking a career change or advancement. It requires the successful completion of only 18 credits in the program. Students pursuing the Healthcare Informatics certificate program can opt to apply for the Master's in Biomedical Informatics program anytime during the tenure of their certificate program. Such students should consult with the Chair of the Department as to the application process to help them migrate from the Certificate to the Master's program.
